The Compton Commitment

We, as the community of concerned Compton citizens, employees in the city and other caring people do agree to this commitment;

1. I commit to take a stand against violence of any form in Compton; gang, adolescent, domestic, etc.
2. I commit to do what I can to help beautify the city; pick up trash, clean my neighborhood, school, house, etc.
3. I commit to be a positive influence upon the people around me.
4. I commit to be concerned with those around me that have less than I do.
5. I commit to bring my skills, expertise, education or training toward the succesful birthing of a new Compton.
